THE FRONT STEPS PROJECT: FAMILIES FEEDING FAMILIES

The Concept

Covid-19 has put our country, our families, and our communities in crisis. We are all facing numerous disappointments and tragedies of varying degrees, and doing so in isolation from one another.

#TheFrontStepsProject provides an opportunity to connect with one another, build community, and raise money for some of our hardest hit neighbors, all from the safety of your front door.

Photographers from around the country have started their own programs in an effort to document their town’s families and help support their communities in these trying times. I’m following their lead and asking you to join me! Meet me at your front door, come as you are, and share your story through an image. I’ve teamed up with the Mount Kisco Interfaith Food Pantry so they can continue supporting their families in distress. Please be as generous as you can as they are in urgent need!

Safety First

Rest assured! I’ll be using a long portrait lens, enabling me to stay a safe distance from you and your family (at least 10 to 15 feet away!) and I will, of course, be wearing a mask. I won’t knock on your door either. A few minutes prior to my arrival, I’ll send you a text so you and your crew can come out and dazzle me!

“With so many feeling isolated or disconnected from friends, family and the rest of the world these days, something as simple as a happy photograph can help keep us going.”
